Something New

It's gonna be wierd. For the first time in ever, I'm going to be backstage for an entire show. I'm so used to be out there performing (and complaining about the crew kids, because they're never there for rehearsals to learn what goes out or comes back when) so sitting on stage left, just behind the curtain with a headset to the light, sound, and curtain techs and a script with every marking known to man... it's gonna be a new experience.

Thank god I can tap my adoptive upperclassman mom, who was the previous stage manager. Sucks that she never got to train anyone though.

But this way, I've got more time to sew~! I'm trying to take a step back (at least for now) and work on more costumes to start building my portfolio. First up is a costume for the one-act play we're putting on for the PA State Thespian Conference (which is basically a drama con, no relation to the manga) for which one of my friends is a donut. A GIANT DONUT. I love it. It's gonna be SO much fun.
